Born and raised in Canada, Shandi Barker moved to the Netherlands several years ago for love, and since then has built a life combining health, movement, coaching, and community. Along the way, she has also learned to speak a solid amount of Dutch, making her an ideal coach for both Dutch speaking and international clients. Shandi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and works as both a personal trainer and online coach. Alongside her work at Fundamentals, she runs her own online coaching business and helps clients create stronger, healthier, and more sustainable lifestyles through evidence based training and nutrition guidance.
Her expertise lies in all around personal training, nutrition coaching, and movement quality. Shandi has extensive knowledge of the female body and specializes in helping women become stronger, more confident, more stable, and pain free. At the same time, she also has years of experience working with men and is fully capable of guiding male clients toward strength, muscle growth, fat loss, and better overall performance.
